Jn. 10:40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at first, and there He stayed.
Jn. 10:41 Then many came to Him and said, “John performed no sign, but all the things that John spoke about this Man were true.”
Jn. 10:42 And many believed in Him there.
Yeshua leaves Judea and crosses the Jordan into the area that is known as Purea. The importance of this fact is that Purea lies outside the jurisdiction of the Sanhedrin. Purea also happens to be the major area where Yochanan haMatbil’s ministry took place, and the people that Yochanan had prepared are there to welcome Him as Messiah.
